Sohail''s previous directorial ventures and did marginal business, had done well atthe box office. So one expect much from too, but then no body knows whether he will fit in the role of his bigbrother Salman Khan. Like his three previous films even''s script was written for Salman. But, says Sohail, "Since the story is set on a campus and, Salman, after 14years in the industry, no longer plays a college student, I was advised by myfather and Salman himself to keep this role for myself".
While Sohail''sabilities as a director have been recognised, how he fares on screen will beknown on Friday.
has anotherdebutante, the actress Sameera Reddy. The movie will also be Sanjay Dutt''s firstrelease after the renewed allegation of his association with underworld donChhota Sakeel. Incidentally, Sanjay is playing the character of a mafia don inthe film.
After ,,andcomes another thriller, SushenBhatnagar''s .
The story is about afilm star Raj Mathew (Sanjay Kapoor) who loves his wife Madhulika (AditiGowitrikar). But Madhulika is afraid she may loose her husband to the otherwoman in his life - choreographer-turned-director Preity Sardesai (RaveenaTandon). Into this triangle comes Om (Arbaaz Khan) for whom solution to everyproblem in life is murder. And Madhulika is killed, but nobody knows who killedher.
All eyes would be on Arbaaz, who could do little in his debut film six years ago. He started as ananti-hero and continues with negative roles. He got little success even in hisbrother Sohail''s production and withSalman Khan. Arbaaz has pinned hopes on which he calls a different film. He says, "Films likeare made with a lot of conviction.Very rarely in life one has an opportunity to feel proud of one''s own work and Ifeel proud of working in ."
Arbaaz says is a blend ofcommercial and sensible cinema. He said people expect from the industry to makefilms which are different from the usualfilms. But when one dares to dothat, it does not get encouragement from the distributors, the media and thepeople.
Considering the success of thrillers released recently, one canhope for the best with girlRaveena and former Mrs World Aditi Gowitrikar around, adding charm to thethrill.
